Merry xmas!!!

Its Christmas Day and I'd like to wish you all a fabulously merry christmas :)) 

I've had a lovely day so far :) I've just finished my christmas dinner with the family and it was delicious!! I've definitely over-indulged and I won't lie, I'm struggling to move at all I'm so full!!..

I wouldn't even know where to begin with presents I've been so spoilt... One is my favourites is definitely my new Nina Ricci perfume which my boyfriend got for me!! I'll be blogging about this shortly :) I got loads of makeup, hair care and load s of amazing goodies!!

CTTC shoes :))

I've wanted a pair of mega platform boots for a while now and I was trying to decide the other day whether I should hold out for buffalo boots or to go for the CTTC shoes.. After a lot of mming and ahhing I decided to go for the CTTC (cute to the core) and I haven't been disappointed. I ordered them from Tower-London and they were reduced from £44.99 to £31.99..

I love them!!!.. They look amazing and are suprsingly comfortable I had thought they may be difficult to walk in but they appear to be fine!! Their around 8cm high and have a gorgeous blue lining!! Early gift to myself and I couldn't be happoer :) 

Spoilt...

It's a few days before xmas and everythings pretty hectic... I've got everyones presents sorted out, I've forgotten all about xmas cards tho ;\ oops!! There's a few of my nearest and dearest that I've been trying to arrange a small get together with buuuut everyone is free at different times, we all have different commitments so its been a case of running and grabbing time when poss.. Anyway I did manage to have a really fab get together with a good friend of mine yesterday!! :) We had a few glasses of wine, exchanged presents and watched you, me and dupri.. That's another great thing about xmas all the awesome films that are shown on TV!!.. I was so chuffed with my gifts, I've had two early xmas prezzies now and I couldn't be happier, everyone has made such a feel effort and been so loving and thoughtful I feel very lucky... Here's a little preview of my new treasure :))

I'm going shopping this afternoon with my boyfriend.. The Sunday before Christmas!! Its going to be intense but I will defo grab some bargains!! Oooshh :))

I've never been much of a cardigan kinda gal.. I'm 5ft and a size 6-8 and although I've always loved cable knits and warm snug shrugs they always drown me and I end up looking like a frumpy old whale. Recently Skye Vintage (https://marketplace.asos.com/boutique/skyevintage?oss_ss=1&tab=boutique) Got a number of cardigans in, they're gorgeous thick knit winter wrap ups which are just great... I had the job of styling and modelling them and you know what? I quite like them... I've been converted from a cardie hating thin knit wearer to a definite lover of the bigger knit!!... I styled them up with a cute little skirt which I got a while ago from primark for like £3 !!.. Leggings, little boots and a mega cute vintage hat!!

It's nearly xmas and I'm super excited :)) I've always loved christmas, and although it's been a little stressful this year it's still all fun and games :)) 

I went for a few drinks with my friends and we somehow managed to get hold of these funny little accessories!! I think it's quite an improvement don't you?

Buffalo shoes or CTTC?!

I have been searching for a pair of buffalo boots (affordable) for absolutely ages!!.. I've searched all the usual hideouts.. Ebay, Etsy, Asosmarketplace, even had a look on amazon but nothing.. They're all £100+ I've limited my budget on these shoes to £50 and I am determined I will acheive that. I've been set on genuine buffalos but these CTTC (cute to the core) flatforms have really caught my eye, I've found a pair for £30 and I can't make up my mind.

90s Grunge Look...

I love the 90s... So I decided to do a little 90s edit, I've always loved the grungey look so decided to grunge it all up on a recent shoot.. 

Vintage pieces are awesome, their unique and your not going to find yourself in that awkward situation wearing the same outfit as someone else. I like to rock it all up and create a bit of an alternative look.. Nothing extreme but mixing a little high street with a unique vintage items adds a little bit of spice which can really make an outfit stand out..

Thurdays shoot

I was photographing our lovely model Jade, on Thursday here are a few sneaky pics of our final results..Most our our shirts and blouse are restyled as oversized and I think they all look pretty cool in their own unique simplicity but we added a few little extras to really make the most of them :) 

We used a vintage gold chain around the collar, and really pulled the waist in, the great thing about this look is that it can be played up or down for any occasion. :)

Medusa Piercing

Oh yes..!! It was my friends birthday so we headed over to get some piercings!! I wasn't planning on getting anything pierced buuut I got a bit excited and anything with my upper lip done!!.. 

I'm not going to lie it actually really hurt, I've had my tragus, my nose and ears done multiple times and they were fine, didn't hurt at all, but as soon as the needle went through on this one my eyes were streaming... 

Straight after having it done... owch!!! 

I'm not completely sure on it, it keeps clashing against my teeth and hurting my gums :( Its also hooked under my teeth a few times and tugged downwards.. Owwwwwchhh!!

Visit to London..

Last week, I went down to London to visit my friend Anya.

It was only my second time in London, being a suburban northern girl it can be a little scary but we had a ball.. I took my camera down, although my current lense is a 70mm to 200mm so its pretty damn long and not ideal for the busy hustle and bustle of London town. I decided to take my Lensbaby composer, its small and sweet. The creative lens is great, although it got a little bit tedious at times.

We went to Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park. Which was beautiful, but really really busy.

The next day we went to Notthing Hill... I devotedly searched for the blue door from the fil (I had no luck) I did however discover loads of fabulous little gems. 

There's a little shop in Notting Hill and I could kick myself for not remembering the name of it, its on the way to Portobello market, and is ran by one of the last truly fabulous woman. The store sells custom pieces, reworked vintage, all handmade designs. The selection of jewelry drew me in and I was amazed once I walked in. The counter was an actual head, it was mesmerizing and just beautiful!!

 
After a lovely chat with the owner, we carried on towards Portobello Market i.e heaven oohhh it was exciting!!.. There is literally bargains to be had everywhereeee!!!! There's nothing I like more than getting stuck into a heap of old clothes and digging out the bargains! I got some vintage Toggi chelsea boots for £20, loads of items from a certain stall that was selling everything for £10, got a few pairs of Levi' and denim jackets! Super cute!!

Early Xmas Prezzies!!

I went to lunch yesterday with one of my best friends and his girlfriend, Ben and Sam. Their going away over Christmas so we went for a nice meal and exchanged presents early! Exciting!! I got spoilt :)

I loved all of my presents but especially these bad boys!! Clinique deep comfort butter butter, a test size of my favourite moisturiser Clinique dramitically different, a Clinique mirrored blush compact and a large Clinique lip pencil!!

I'm super happy with these new clinique items. Cliniques been one pf my fav brands for years and I love the colours of the lipstick and blusher :)

I don't even know where to begin with this!!!! I LOVE it, I've already tried two of them, the Russian Caravan and the Sencha but unfortunately I've got a bad cold so couldn't taste them properly. This is a great xmas present, I'm a big tea fan and this is a lovely mixture of green and black tea... Can't wait to dig in!!
