Jumpsuit Love
Over the years I have accumulated many jumpsuits, their one of my favorite pieces for a night out with the girls... So I was really excited when Skye Vintage got a couple of gorrrgeous jumpsuits in. Here's two of my few of my favourites :) We've kept it simple, styled with a pair of Jeffery Campbell cut out wedge boots adds a touch of rock n roll... Also thrown on a belt with the lighter pink jumpsuit.

Sunrise Eyes
I love this look...Its so warm and bright, really cheers me up on a miserable gloomy day!! I did a workshop a few years ago at Illamasqua, Beak street with Daniel Sallstrom. We were doing a nighttime look, he showed us this look and I fell in love with it :) Yellow, Orange and Red eyeshadow for a cheerful day look and easily transformed into a super cool night time look with a bit of illuminator and pigment.

I had the best time in London at the Illamasqua workshop, one of the best city breaks I've had.

Btech MUA... Colour Scheme One
Last year I decided to take a BTECH Makeup Artist course through ICS. Its distance learning so its great if you need flexibility. I was a little apprehensive at first, I knew it would take a lot of willpower pushing myself to do the work without anyone holding my hand and pestering me but its been amazing!! There's an ICS community and you have a tutor for any questions you may have.
I'm half way through the course now, it was a little frustrating at first as you get sent all your course equipment but you can't really play with any of it until you've done a whooole load of theory.. All for safety reasons which is mega important and it really is worth the wait so you know your doing it properly and more important, safely.
I'm onto my third unit now and this is where the fun begins!!! Makeup makeup makeup!!!... For this assignment I have to plan various makeup looks and photograph the duration of the application and the final results.. Here's a little sneaky peak at my first look.
There are six looks in total, three you make up yourself, choose the colours and the style and the other three are set colour schemes.
This is one of the set colour schemes I was given to use:
Eyes: Blue
Foundation: Match the skin tone
Blush: Pink
Lips: Red

Lipstick is my favourite by MAC Ruby Woo, it has a really beautiful matt finish, but doesn't go on chalky and dry. Its great to achieve a really strong solid lip colour. Foundation is as always Illamasqua Rich liquid 130. I'm really self conscious about my skin, so I like to wear a foundation with quite a high covering ability, after years of searching I found the dream hidden in the mothership Illamasqua store Beak Street, Camden.
I felt like a bit of a geisha dressed up in this look, I'm a bit of a colour shunner and usually shy away from too brighter colours. I like the eyes and the lips seperately but I think together is a bit much for me, I do usually like to wear a subtle eye with a strong lip.
I used NYX colour pallete for the eyes, and simply combined white, light blue, cobalt blue and a small amount of black to add definition to the eye socket.

Tamron vs Sigma?!
I'm looking at buying a new 24-70mm lens for my canon 60D.. Unfortunately I can't afford the Canon 24-70mm which is priced at over £1000 :( I'm trying to decide between the Sigma or the Tamron?? I've used a Sigma lens before and the quality was good and I enjoyed shooting with it but I've had no experience of Tamron?
I'm pretty new to the photography scene, I'm desperate to learn and want the best for my budget.. If theres any photography moguls out there who can help me with this please get in touch!!..

Street Style
H&M have some pretty awesome offers, and they had these multi coloured graffiti paint splashed jeans for £5 in there winter offers before xmas.. I'm a bit of a colour shunner, I've never been the most confident of people and always use to try to blend into the background wearing mundane darker tones. After starting my Vintage Boutique, I soon learnt how essential colour was. I have styled these pants with block coloured oversized vintage shirts and a cool bold heavy chain.
Trousers: H&M
Shoes: CTTC Qozmo Lo
Shirts: SkyeVintage
Chain: H&M
Hat: H&M

Hot Yoga
One of my new years resolutions is to tone up, shift a few pounds and be healthy. I'm a massive yoga fan, so Mother and I decided to book a class at the local Hot Yoga studio. It's amazing, we did a Yoga by candlelight class which is very gentle and relaxing.
Our class was at 7:15 and started by removing shoes and socks and entering the Hot Room.. Its like a sauna and is heated to 110 degrees Fahrenheit, we all lay on the yoga mats provided. We lay there undisturbed for a few minutes it was extremely relaxing and honestly I would have stayed there all night. The lesson started and it consisted of gentle yoga movements, and lots of meditation. We chose to do the candlelight class which is designed for light exercise and relaxation (didn't want to jump in at the deep end) but if you do the full yoga fushion class which focuses on power you can shift up to 1000 calories!!..
Loads of celebrities practice yoga, Adam Levine, Jennifer Anniston and Lady Gaga is a frequent visitor to a New York yoga studio.
